About Elodie & Morwenn

Two voices responding to each other, intersecting & uniting to set the dance in motion: Elodie Jaffre & Morwenn Le Normand are bound by the Kan ha Diskan, a distinctive type of singing found in the breton-speaking part of Brittany. Their repertoire, nourished by the areas of Basse-Bretagne, Vannes & Port Louis (near Lorient), is both anchored in the tradition and firmly rooted in the present.

A singer with a longstanding commitment to her art, Elodie can be heard in her creation "Kanour Noz" and in the trio '"Inorzen". Morwenn, among several key collaborations, lends her voice to the trio "Sova!" and the vocal ensemble "Blue Glaz".

The close duet formed by Elodie & Morwenn combines strong roots & togetherness to deliver a powerful & invigorating singing to the dancers.
